Community Updates

Catholic Mass: A Catholic will be held on the first Monday of each month in the Community Room at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to join!

Community Lunch: Please join us on Wednesday, September 27th at noon for the End of Summer/Hello Fall lunch. To ensure that we order the right amount of food, you must sign up no later than Tuesday, September 19th. The cost is just $5 per person.

Social Hour: Join us for social hour every Wednesday at 9 a.m. It’s a great opportunity for residents to gather, socialize, and connect with their neighbors. Donuts will be provided.

Resident Garden: The residents’ garden has never looked so good! Several residents have worked hard this year to create a beautiful garden filled with flowers, fruit, and a home base for some lucky birds. We hope you’ve all had a chance to check it out!

Marie’s godson Ernie was here visiting with her, and he also played the guitar and sang for some of the residents who were in the Community Room.

Employee Spotlight: Meet Our New Property Manager

Hello residents of Riddlebrook Apartments! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new property manager. I have already met many of you, and look forward to meeting the rest of you as I get settled in. Thank you all for being so welcoming!

A little bit about me: I am a husband and father to two girls, Eliza and Zoey. I love spending time with family, going to the beach, camping, and trying new restaurants.

I look forward to working with each of you, and I know we will all continue to make Riddlebrook Apartments a beautiful place to live and work.

- Steven O’Brien

  • One Call System: We are now implementing the one call system where we notify residents of any upcoming inspections, events etc. If you change your telephone number or email address, please let the office know right away so you do not miss out on any important updates. We are excited about this change.

Reminder: Riddlebrook Apartments is a smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the building. There is, however, one designated smoking area located at the back of the property, to the left of the garage.

Tech Tips: Five Tips for Safe Social Media Practices

1. Be Selective with Friend Requests: Only accept friend requests from people you know and trust. Avoid adding unknown individuals or accounts that appear suspicious.

2. Limit Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing personal information on social media platforms. Avoid posting sensitive details such as your full address, phone number, or financial information. Keep your privacy settings updated to control who can see your posts and personal information.

3. Think Before You Share: Before posting anything on social media, consider the potential impact and who can see it. Be mindful of sharing vacation plans, upcoming events, or information that could compromise your security or privacy.

4. Report Suspicious Activity: If you come across suspicious accounts or encounter any form of harassment, spam, or inappropriate content, report it to the social media platform. Reporting such activity helps maintain a safer online community.

5. Stay Aware of Privacy Settings: Familiarize yourself with the privacy settings offered by the social media platforms you use. Regularly review and update these settings to ensure they align with your desired level of privacy and security.

  • Here are a few rules and helpful tips about the proper use of the washers & dryers at Riddlebrook Apartments.

    Washers:

    • Please use only liquid soap goes into the dispenser. Also be sure to only use the right amount—do not overfill.

    • Do Not put powdered soap or pods in the dispenser.

    • If you choose to use powdered soap or pods, you must put it in the machine first—before clothing goes in. Powder and pods may not dissolve completely in cold water.

    • Please use one machine at a time so that others may also have a machine to use.

    • Leave washer door partially open after use to remove trapped moisture.

    Dryers:

    • Remember to clean out the lint traps.

    • Leave dryer doors partially open to remove trapped moisture.

Please make sure you remove your clothes from the machines in a timely manner in consideration of others, and adhere to the laundry room times of operation.

Also, please remember to not overload machines. Overloading machines will not get them as clean, and will slow machine power on the spin cycle. In this case, clothes will be wetter and require more drying time.

    Thank you,

    Rob
